We have
been working on getting our new round pen up. We had to
move the old one. The ground is still soft enough to dig
holes, since we've been getting lots of rain, and no freeze
since November. We use
the round pens to get the young dogs started on herding and also
for training the ponies.
We've got to finish the solid
wall now.

May-Our
garden is taking shape. We moved it too. We have
carpet in-between our tomato and pepper rows here. Carpet
is wonderful for keeping grass and weeds gone, and soft to walk
on. Also, in the big thunderstorms with downpours, the
carpet keeps the soil in place. We have tomatoes, peppers,
all kinds, cucumbers, onions, squash, watermelon, cucumbers,
peas and beans are 2-3 feet high now. We are planting lots
of flowers and bulbs mixed into our garden along with bird
feeders, hummingbird feeders, toad houses and wind chimes.
Can't wait till everything grows large!
